NSO NES Controller

The wireless NSO NES pad works in RetroArch on Mac with the full hotkey scheme. The Vault writes the right driver and button map automatically at launch.

NES has just two face buttons — A (primary) and B (secondary). Select is the hotkey modifier: hold it and press R / L to save / load, ▲ / ▼ to change slot, and Start to quit. The NSO L / R buttons (Switch capture / home) are on the top edge.Controller art from the Linear theme for ES-DE (MIT).

How it connects

Connect over Bluetooth (never USB — macOS doesn't surface its input over USB). The Vault writes the NES profile into RetroArch's mfi driver before launch, so you never touch RetroArch's input menus — and you should never use RetroArch's "Save Controller Profile" for these pads (it silently re-indexes the buttons).
